The Goulburn Valley is one of Victoria’s great growing regions. Orchards, dairy farms and vineyards stretch out from Shepparton in every direction. The city sits where the Goulburn and Broken rivers meet, and life slows down around the water. People walk the Victoria Park Lake loop, picnic by the river, and visit the Shepparton Art Museum (SAM) on the lake’s edge.

Shepparton has the hospitals, schools and shops of a regional centre, and the lifestyle of a country town. Melbourne is about two hours down the Goulburn Valley Highway. Tatura, Mooroopna and Kialla are all close by. Many families say the deciding factor is simple: a bigger block, a newer home and a shorter commute than they could get in the city.

Building our forever home with Southern Vale Homes was an incredible experience from start to finish. Highly recommend Southern Vale Homes! Shane, our New Homes Consultant, went above and beyond and was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable throughout the process. Dave was also fantastic — very easy to communicate with and always willing to go the extra mile especially not being able too make it down for the build Dave would send me photos each week with updates. I also had a colour appointment with blaze going in with zero idea on what I want the support from her was amazing. Thank-you also too the office team behind it all too!

Where is your nearest display home?

The Elite, at 52 Egret Drive in Kialla, about ten minutes south of central Shepparton. Bruno is on site Monday – Wednesday, 11am – 5pm, and by appointment outside those hours.

Can I build on a block I already own?

You can. Bring the details of your block and we will work out which of our designs suits it, then price the build. Every block featured in our house and land packages is also available to pair with a different design.
