Albury Wodonga sits on the Murray, halfway between Melbourne and Sydney, with two city centres and one shared community. Mornings start with coffee at Noreuil Park and the light coming off the river. Weekends fill up quickly — the farmers market at Gateway Village, MAMA and the Albury LibraryMuseum, a show at The Cube in Wodonga, and the walk up Monument Hill when the weather turns.
It is also close to everything else. Beechworth, Yackandandah and the Hume foreshore are a short drive. The alpine country is closer still. For families and first home buyers, that combination — regional pace, city services, land you can actually afford — is usually what decides it.
